Tormented Space is a sector of the Delta Quadrant where frequent electrostatic anomalies make space travel exceedingly difficult. It is located on the border of the Uncharted Territories, near the Scarran Empire. It is largely uninhabited and, throughout history, has seldom been claimed by an significant factions due to the difficulty of traveling within it. Most of the intelligent life found in Tormented Space is barbaric and uncivilized.
